    Unlocking your property journey

    Creating appointments

Set up a meeting with a lead, a client, your colleagues or anyone else, and send calendar invitations from your connected Google or Microsoft calendar.

The Appointments page (the item called Calendar until September 2026) shows your team's dated work in one place: appointments you create, appointments booked online through your appointment links, workspace tasks and key dates. Its address has not changed.

    Starting an appointment

Click New appointment on the Appointments page, on a lead, or on a client's page. From a lead or client the person is added as the first attendee and the appointment is linked to their record. You can also start one with nothing prefilled from the + menu in the top bar.

    What to fill in

    • Title and an optional description. Attendees see both in the invitation.
    • Date, start and end time, in the time zone shown. The zone defaults to your business's time zone (Company settings), or your own availability zone if none is set. The end time must be after the start.
    • Organiser and Calendar. The organiser is you, unless you are an owner or admin picking a colleague. The calendar is the organiser's connected Google or Microsoft account. Invitations always leave the organiser's own calendar.
    • Location: Online, In person or Phone. Online appointments can generate a Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link, use your own link, or have none. In-person appointments need an address or a description of where to meet. Phone appointments need the number and who calls whom.
    • Attendees: search your leads, clients and staff, or add someone by name and email. The same email address is never added twice, so everyone in the list receives exactly one invitation. Adding a person by hand does not create a lead or client.

Before you save, the sheet lists anything the organiser already has at that time: other appointments, including ones booked online, and busy time on their connected calendar. You can still save over a clash.

    Invitations

Invitations are sent by the calendar provider, one per attendee, from the organiser's own account. Marketli sends no invitation email of its own, so nobody receives two. When you edit or reschedule, the provider sends everyone the update; when you cancel, the provider sends the cancellation and removes the meeting.

If the organiser has no calendar connected, the appointment is saved in Marketli only and the sheet says so before you save. Connect Google or Microsoft on your Profile, then edit the appointment and pick the calendar to send the invitations.

If the calendar refuses the event, the appointment is still saved and the detail sheet shows the reason with a Send invitations button. Retrying never creates a second meeting.

    After it is saved

Open an appointment from the Appointments page or from the lead or client to see who accepted, declined or has not replied yet. Click Refresh responses to read the latest from the calendar. Edit or reschedule changes the details for everyone; Cancel appointment removes the meeting and notifies the attendees.

Appointments you create do not trigger the appointment automations, which fire only when someone books online through an appointment link. The invitation is the confirmation.
