    MARKETLI

    Unlocking your property journey

    Capturing leads

Add leads by hand, or embed Marketli's contact and referral forms on your own website so enquiries land straight in your Leads board.

Every lead in Marketli lands in one place — the Leads page in the left navigation, under the Leads tab. Leads get there either because someone on your team added them, or because a visitor filled in one of the two forms you can embed on your own website.

    Adding a lead by hand

    1. Open Leads from the left navigation.
    2. Click Add lead.
    3. Fill in the drawer. Only Name is required:
      • Name — required.
      • Email and Phone — you need at least one of these to contact them later, and a phone number is what unlocks SMS.
      • Source — where the lead came from. Defaults to No source.
      • Referred by — search your clients and network, or type a referrer's name as free text.
      • Lead date — defaults to today.
      • Notes.
    4. Click Add lead.

The lead arrives in the New column of the board.

Embedding the contact form on your website

The embed snippets are behind one button, and only company owners and admins can see it.

    1. Open Leads, stay on the Leads tab.
    2. Click Embed widget. The Website widgets dialog opens.
    3. Under Contact form, click Copy snippet.
    4. Paste it into your website where you want the form to appear.

Click Preview in the same dialog to open the form in a new tab and see exactly what your visitors will get.

The form asks for Your name, Email address and Phone number (all required) plus an optional Message, and there is a captcha on it. When someone submits, they see a "Message sent" confirmation and the lead appears on your board with a Website source.

    Options on the contact form

The snippet accepts two optional attributes:

    AttributeWhat it does
data-theme="dark"Renders the form in dark mode instead of light.
data-subject="Home loan enquiry"Shows that subject to the visitor and records it on the lead.

Put the empty div from the snippet wherever you want the form to sit on the page.

    Embedding the referral form

The second snippet in the same dialog is the Referral form. It is for visitors referring someone else to you, rather than enquiring themselves.

It collects the referrer's name, email and phone, then the referred person's name, email and phone, an optional message, and asks how you should handle it — Not specified, They're expecting you to reach out, or They'll contact you themselves.

Leads from this form arrive with a Referral source and the referrer's details attached, so you can see who sent them.

Its optional attributes are data-theme="dark" and data-hide-header (which hides your logo header inside the widget — useful when the form already sits under your own branding).

    Your brand colour

Both forms pick up the brand colour set in your company settings automatically. You don't configure colours in the snippet.

    Managing your lead sources

Sources let you tell website enquiries apart from open-home walk-ins and referrals. Owners and admins can edit the list:

    1. On the Leads tab, click Sources.
    2. Rename a source by editing its name inline.
    3. Turn a source off with its switch. Deactivated sources are hidden from the picker but stay on past leads, so your history doesn't change.
    4. Add one under Add a source.

You can then filter the board by source using the source dropdown on the Leads tab.
