The assistant
Ask in plain English about your contacts, leads, recent texts, automations and sending numbers. The assistant only reads: it can't send or change anything yet.
The assistant is a chat panel inside Marketli for you and your team. Ask a question in plain English and it looks the answer up in your own business's records.
It's being trialled with a few businesses first. If you don't see it, it isn't switched on for your business yet.
Opening it
- On a computer: click Assistant in the bottom right corner of any page.
- On a phone: tap the round sparkle button above the bottom bar.
Your latest conversation opens where you left it. Use the pencil button at the top of the panel to start a new one.
What you can ask
- Find a contact by name, email or phone number. A number works however you type it, such as 0412 345 678.
- Open a contact: their phone, email and status, and every lead for them with its stage, date and source.
- Recent texts with a contact, including calls and voicemails, and who sent each one: you, a colleague or an automation.
- Your automations: which are switched on and how many steps each has.
- Your sending numbers: the business's numbers, and your own number if you text from it. Owners and admins also see their team members' own numbers.
When a contact comes up in an answer, their name is a link that opens them in Contacts.
What it can't do yet
The assistant only reads. It can't send a text or an email, add or edit a contact, or switch an automation on or off. If you ask, it tells you where to do it in the app.
It never acts for lots of people at once, such as texting every client.
What it can see
The assistant sees exactly what you can see, and nothing more. If your business uses branches and you can only see some of them, the assistant can only see those contacts too. It doesn't read contact notes, birthdays or addresses.
If several contacts match your question, it lists them and asks which one you mean.
Where your conversations are kept
The assistant's AI runs in Australia, and your conversations are stored in Australia. Conversations you haven't used for 90 days are deleted.
Limits
- Each team member can ask up to 60 questions an hour.
- A long question may stop partway with "I stopped there. Ask me to carry on." Reply and it picks up from there.
- If the assistant is unavailable, it says so and nothing in your account has changed.
