Lender logos on your website

Your Marketli-built website can show a strip of logos for some of the lenders you work with. You choose the lenders, put them in the order you like, and Marketli keeps the logos themselves up to date.

You will find it in the Editor, under Widgets at the top of the screen, then Lender logos. Anyone in your company can see the panel. Only owners and admins can change it.

Choosing your lenders

1. Open the Lender logos panel.
2. Search for a lender under Add a lender and click it to add it. You can show up to 24.
3. Use the arrows to put them in the order you want, and the cross to remove one.
4. Choose a heading, a style and a layout, then tick the confirmation and press Save.

The logos come from Marketli's lender library, which holds each lender's own logo file so it looks right and stays current. If a lender you work with is missing, open A lender you work with is missing? and ask us to add it.

Your website is yours. Showing a lender's logo is your use of it, under your own accreditation with that lender. Marketli is your website provider: we host the file only to show it on your site.

Layouts

• Wall shows every logo at once, in rows that wrap to fit the screen.
• Carousel shows the logos in one row that scrolls slowly sideways.
• Double carousel shows two rows scrolling in opposite directions. It suits a longer list.

Carousels stop while a visitor's pointer is over them and have a Pause button. For anyone whose device is set to reduce motion, they stay still and show every logo instead. Changing the layout does not ask you to confirm your lenders again.

The confirmation

Before your lenders show, an owner or admin confirms: Someone in this business is currently accredited with each lender shown, and this business is permitted to use each lender's logo on its website.

Lenders set their own rules for how brokers use their logos, usually in your accreditation terms or your broker portal. If a lender asks you to stop using its logo, remove it here and save.

• The confirmation is for exactly the lenders on your list. If you add or remove one, you confirm again.
• It lasts 12 months. After that the strip is taken off your website until someone confirms again.
• We keep a record of who confirmed, when, and for which lenders.

The wording on your website

• The heading always says the list is partial: Some of the lenders on our panel or Lenders we work with include. There is no free-text heading.
• Under the logos your website shows: Logos are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these lenders.
• The order is your choice. Your website does not say it reflects how much you lend with each lender.

Your credit guide's list of lenders is separate. The strip does not change it, and it must stay accurate on its own.

When a lender changes its name or stops

Banks merge and brands retire. When that happens we update the library, and the old brand stops showing on your website. The panel then tells you, for example Heritage Bank is now People First Bank, and offers the new name. We never swap it for you, because you confirm each lender you show.

How long changes take

The strip is built into your website, not loaded in your visitor's browser, so it is part of your site like any other section and search engines can see it. When you save, your website updates in the background. That usually takes a few minutes.
