Your QR code on the Network tab

Hand over your contact details face to face: the QR code at the top of the Network tab on your phone saves you straight into someone's contacts.

On your phone, the Network tab in the bar at the bottom opens with your own QR code at the top, with your connections underneath.

    What the code holds

The code is your contact card itself: your name, your business, your mobile, your email and your website. When someone points their phone camera at it, their phone offers to add you to their contacts. Nothing is published and there is no link to open, so your mobile only reaches the person scanning your screen, the same as handing over a paper business card.

Under the code you can see the name and business the card carries. To change anything on it, tap Edit my details.

If your profile has no name, or has neither a mobile nor an email, there is nothing to put on a card yet. The tab asks you to add those first.

    Your photo

Your profile picture sits in the middle of the code. The code is built so it still scans with the photo there. If you have no profile picture, or it cannot be loaded, the code shows without one. To change the photo, change your profile picture.

    Sending your card instead

Tap Send my card to send the card as a contact file through your phone's share options, for example by text message or email. If your phone's browser cannot share files, the button reads Download my card and saves the file instead.

If your plan does not include Network

Every professional has the Network tab and their QR code. If your plan does not include Network, the tab shows your code and, below it, a note that Network is not on your plan, with an Unlock button.
