A free directory listing from your Google Business Profile
Connect your Google Business Profile, check the listing Marketli drafts for you, and publish it to the Marketli directory for free.
A mortgage broker or conveyancer can add their business to the Marketli directory for free by connecting their Google Business Profile. You do not need a Marketli plan.
How it works
- Press Add your business to our directory and sign in with the Google account that manages your Business Profile.
- Choose your profile, enter your work email and type the code we send you. That creates your Marketli account.
- Marketli drafts your listing from your Google profile and your website.
- You check the draft, change the words if you like, and press Publish my listing.
Nothing is listed until you press Publish. If you choose Not now, the draft is saved and you can publish it later. A draft left untouched for 30 days is deleted.
What a listing shows
- Your business name, category, suburb and state (or the area you serve, if your Google profile shows no address)
- Your phone number and website
- Your opening hours
- Your Google rating and number of reviews
- A description, your services and links to your social pages
- Your logo, if you upload one
Your street address and your email address are never shown.
What you can change
On Marketli: the description, your services, your social links and your logo. Open your listing, press Edit, make your changes and press Publish changes. An edit is not public until you publish it.
On Google: your name, phone, website, suburb, category and opening hours come from your Google Business Profile. Change them there, then press Refresh from Google on your listing.
Social links are kept only when they are https addresses on that network. A logo must be a PNG, JPG or WebP image of 2 MB or less.
Who can be listed
Your Google Business Profile must be verified by Google and be in Australia. If Google is still reviewing an edit to your name, phone, website or address, publish once Google shows it. If something is in the way, your listing page says what it is.
If your Google profile does not show an address
Many mobile businesses hide their address on Google. You can still be listed: your listing page asks Where should your listing appear? and you choose one suburb or town, either from the areas on your Google profile or by searching. The listing then reads Serves Subiaco, WA instead of showing a location, and no address is shown.
You can change the suburb later with Change suburb, then Publish changes. If you add an address to your Google profile, press Refresh from Google, then Publish changes, and the listing uses that suburb instead.
How results are ordered
Marketli members appear first and carry a Marketli member mark. Other businesses follow by Google rating, then by number of reviews. The same line appears under the results on every directory page.
Taking your listing down
Press Take my listing down on your listing at any time. It comes off the directory straight away and your draft is kept for 30 days.
The listing is free while your Google Business Profile stays connected and verified. If you disconnect Google, the listing comes down.

Reporting a listing
Every free listing has a Report this listing link at the bottom of its page. Marketli reviews reports and can remove a listing.
